We all have many jobs to be done in our lives. Some are little; some are big. Some surface unpredictably; some regularly.
在生活中,我们都有许多“待完成任务”(Jobs to Be Done)。有些微不足道,例如排队时打发时间;有些意义重大,例如找到一份更有成就感的职业。有些任务突如其来,有些则是日常惯例。
When we buy a product, we essentially “hire” it to help us do a job. If it does the job well, the next time we’re confronted with the same job, we tend to hire that product again. And if it does a crummy job, we fire it and look for an alternative.
当我们购买一件产品时,本质上是在“雇佣”它来帮助完成某项任务。如果它能出色完成任务,下次遇到同样情境时,我们往往会再次雇佣它;如果表现糟糕,我们就会“解雇”它,转而寻找替代方案。
